Quote: I use meguairs clay bar kit twice a year

always worked great and is easy to put on and take off
Do you use the Quick Detailer as your clay lube? I'm cheap, and would rather use soapy water and save the detailer spray.

where the heck u get this kit for 20 bucks?!!?!

last time i bought it for 20 was like @ Walmart, and I was skeptical on the quality so I only bought 1 box.

Now the detail by itself is 11 bucks!

And in the kit, I got
-seat wipes -clay -detail -wax -tire cleaner -and a complementary cup (the best part!)

I dont like the NXT.. Especially on black cars. For me, MOTHERS wax is the best for black cars. Gives you a deep glossy shine.. The NXT 1.0??? left a oily residue and didn't offer a nice gloss shine at all.

The difference is day and night with Mothers.

We don't put soap on our painted surfaces, especially dish detergent like some members have recommended extremely dumb! You don't need anything but water when using the clay....and lots of it. Left hand on the hose and right hand on the clay following the body lines....works wonders.

I use 3M Seal and Glaze and nothing else. It's about $25 per bottle but it's the best I ever used.

The difference between Zaino and NXT is that Zaino is layerable while NXT is not. Zaino will last longer than NXT...

Rejex is the best I have used yet! 6 months later the water still beads up.

I tried zaono, poorboys, meguirs, turtle etc but nothing has the smooth results, easy application and longevity of the rejex. Try two coats though as it makes a big difference.

Used this yesterday cause i got some for free, and i actually really liked it. I was really surprised the shine it gave and i was only able to put on 1 coat before it got dark. Very easy to put on and wipe of and no dust what so ever. Now, just to see how lond it lasts...

Quote: There's no doubt that Meguiar's makes quality products, I use several. One thing you'll find with their NXT wax it won't last, water will bead but the surface won't maintain the high gloss just waxed look for more than 30 days. If you have the time to wax your G once a month you've made a good choice and it will look great!
Gary
a month? damn wtf?

Mine lasted 2 and a half months with weekly washes. + the raining season+ a black car in Florida Sun.
