Lowered G and speedbumps?
Was just wondering how people with lowered cars deal with speed bumps? Any way around them? My school just installed massive speed bumps in the parking lot this year and with stock X suspension my car barely clears them.
Either try to maneuver them very carefully..... take them at an angle. Or..... you can do what my buddy eldge does to avoid them and park somewhere else. There are some places he just literally cannot go.
It really depends on how low your car is and how big the speed bump is. I can get over alot of them, but I scrape here and there. I'm dropped on G35 S-Techs. I know some people with coilovers that are dropped to the ground can't get over speed bumps at all.
It's something you have to consider when lowering your car.

lol.. well if there are 2 speedbumps side by side, go in the middle of them, if its just one try to go at it sideways but at one point you just have to park somewere else

I have to park in a parking garage building and everything was fine until some a$$hole decided to install 12 speed bumps in every level. That means that no matter what happens I have to pass at least 12 speed bumps just to get in and out of the building. If I park on level 4 it gets really stupid. I have to go over 26 speed bumps everyday on average.
I used to be lowered on 350Z stechs, but now I dropped it another half inch on coilovers so I have to crawl over every single bump very slowly.

Just install bags. You can slam it whenever you want and then take it off roading like a 4x4 by just hitting a switch... I don't really know too much about air suspensions though. So, (sorry for jacking this thread), but how do alignments work when you have bags? Can you use camber kits?
Or...you could just not lower your car.
My old prelude was slammed and there really was nothing more annoying than "I can't drive there, too many bumps."
I didn't buy my car so I couldn't drive it places...
