Yay Or Nay? (photoshopped wheels)
I've been debating TA strips on some rays 19s for some time now. I recently found some rays close to home and decided to photoshop the idea.
My photoshop skills aren't great so, squint and you'll probably get a better idea haha.
The face of the wheels will probably be gloss, either black or gunmetal/gray with metal flake. The TA Strip will probably be vinyl.
This is color matched to my paint

This obviously is red

These are the wheels on it now, My reason for changing is I want them a little bigger and more aggressive. yes I know coupe wheels aren't very aggressive but they are solid wheels.

Should I do this or should I just buy some more aggressive wheels and leave the TA strip out of it. (unless I find some badass ones)
My budget is roughly 1000-2000 so any other suggestions would be cool to.

You don't like my wheels right now
haha don't worry, they are pretty much already sold. My G hibernates in the winter so it's going to come back out looking a whole lot different.
You like the Green TA. I'm not sold yet.... I keep looking at it thinking it looks weird. Probably my crap photoshop work.

I personally don't like the TA look, so I'd leave them stock or just paint them in the colors you listed (black/gunmetal). Another option is to go to a more bronze look, which I think looks good on an EM. Not as aggressive looking, but still sharp. With that said, the color match is better than the red for sure (Christmas anyone?), but it would help if the color actually matched instead of that lime/sea green you showed us.
EDIT: Post # 1000 !

1st choice for me as well, with or without the time attack but as as long as the Rays are black. Since your theme is sort of green and black, why not black out the chrome window frame and color match the door handles?

I was thinking about matching the trim and handles but I'm still unsure I've always liked the trim.
04g35nyc, don't worry my friend. Things will be different next time you see it haha.
Btw, good thing about vinyl TAs is if I don't like them I can peel them off and go back to black/gun metal rays.
