Hey guys I've started the Oil consumption testing over at montclair infiniti, I have to take the car back in 1000 miles. My dilema is that I have an aftermarket exhaust, hi-flo cats and stillin intake. Will they give me problems for this stuff if the car is losing oil.

well, for any warranty denial, they always have to prove that it caused the problem, but most likely if they want too they will just blame it on those aftermarket parts. it's always safe to just bring it back to stock before you go to the dealership. Its up to you.
BTW did you have your oil changes documented or have you been doing your own oil change?

It's a judgment call, it all depends on the stealership and how difficult they want to be.
I know some people who have had mods on these forums similar to u and they didn't have any probs, not sure what dealership it was though.
I've also read of some dealerships that do the warranty work and then actually charged to put the mods back on; intake and exhaust.

Considering a new engine is at stake, i'd put the stock parts back on.

100 bux to put your stock exhaust on for a piece of mind or 5k for a new motor + install...you be the judge...
Montclair Infiniti are picky about warranty work. Although, they did warranty out my tranny, but it took a test drive with the mechanic to get my approval.
good luck! Sometimes it worth the drive to Riverside Infiniti.

When I got my engine replaced for OC, Infiniti told me my Injen intake is responsible for it. I got so pissed..
. After some arguing they agreed to do the engine swap. 2 days later Infiniti calls me and says theyre not doing anymore work on my car because I know a person that ruined their loaner and they have proof that I talked to him on driver. They said they're not willing to work w someone assosiated w him. 
Why the f is that my problem what ANOTHER person did to them. I went down there and screamed and yelled in the directors office like never before. 
They were so rude and they had like 5 people attacking me telling me how they know I race w the car bc of how it looks. I walked out of there crying. Some other G shops around the area called and talked to the director cause they all knew me. It was the worse experience of my life. Once they realized the mistake they apologized and did all the work in like 3 days. Ever since then they're super nice and always offering me thing when I go in there. I'll never understand. 
I hope you have a better experience.

I remember reading a thread about this same issue and he had a intake and exhaust ONLY and they denied his warranty and said that the exhaust caused the problem.
People are idiots and can make sh*t up. I would put the stock stuff back on until after the test is done. Your new engine depends on it. Don't risk it.
