Help my 20's in the rear are bugging out
04 g35 coupe cambers in rear bugging out. I am sure this is a common question, but my g's rear wheels are bowing out like most nissan and BMW vehicles do over time. I just went from stock 18's to 20's and the tire shop was able to tow them in a little. They recommended I buy a camber extension to get the wheels perfectly straight. For as much as I just slapped on wheels and tires, i don't wan them to wear funny nor do I like the look of uneven wheels. The dealer wants $500, but somebody told me to check Stillen. What is this part actually called and where is the best cost effective place to get them. thanks for your help. Steve

I like the squatting look myself!! Depending on how wide your tires are, if you straightened them up wouldnt they scrub without a fender roll?

Thanks for the website. This is exactly what i was looking for.

Steve,
Go into the marketplace here and look in the vendor section for SPC camber kits. These are the kits you want and you'll be spending a good amount less for these kits then others. They can get you close/or to zero. Just the rear kit is around $180 and this will straighten those rear wheels back up and fix an uneven wear issue. Hope this helps. Matt |
Thanks Matt! I found a few on ebay, but they look like imported cheap copies. When you pay $65 for a pair you wonder how long they will last on Los Angeles nasty roads. I would rather pay a little more with peace of mind. "You get what you pay for".

Camber/Toe correction....!
Stillen does make quality merchandise for our G35s but it pays to watch our own MARKETPLACE under vendors for the same items at a much better price. Stay away from eBay junk when buying parts for our cars, the risk isn't worth it :OHBOY: especially suspension pieces!
