you dont need ramps at all for exhaust.. jacks and jack stands are fine.. usually new exhaust parts come with new gaskets and hardware.. since its all bolt on it should be no problem.. but having a lift is so much easier to work with... and so far i havent went to any shop to install anything.. pretty much all my mods have been bolt ons.. and dont require extensive labor

Well, I tried to remove my tips on my muffler... they didn't come off even with WD-40 soaked for like 20 minutes. I didn't have any rust off or freezing stuff so I called it quits. That probably means this is going to be work to take off. Do you think the gaskets held up? and should I use my stock gaskets on the HFCs?

I don't trust jack stands, bad story with a friend of mine. I'll use my rhino ramps!

When I did my midpipe(magnaflow) it need to be welded and I dow't own a mig welder I only have an arc welder.. and that's far to much work and that's the only time my car has been in the shop. Other than my front springs... I did the rears but the fronts I was too lazy to do.

ramps are better.. how many miles are on the gaskets... and check what condition they are in.. if you see spots or rust... get new ones...

The HFCs have roughly 7000kms on them. They will be here at the end of the month. I trust they should be in pretty good shape. The Y pipe on the other hand I don't really know anything about, I am yet to see it. But hopefully they are still intact.

How much are gaskets? It probably wouldn't hurt to replace them anyways.

Awesome thanks for the link.

If I were to buy them else where, I need 2.5" right? The brand probably won't matter as to shape and what not?
