Huh? Yeah LED's have polarity but if you put them in backwards you just create an open (as if no bulb was there) not a short....

As for the markers, do you have a voltmeter? If so probe at the marker socket and see if theres anything present. If not trace backwards to the fuse, first probing the output side to ground. If you get a voltage then something between the fuse and the socket is messed up. If you see no voltage then probe the source of the fuse to ground. If theres a voltage then the fuse is blown, if nbt then you need to trace back the source to that fuse. Good Luck!!!!!

dont you hate it when stuff like that happens. You fix one thing only to have something else go wrong and it never seems to end

i havent gotten to check yet but im sure its a fuse. and yes i am starting to hate the car game. you do so much good then so many things go bad. i had 2 sockets that decided to get wedged under my motor mounts today.
also high performance parts are 1000x worse, try installling a turbo kit then the intake pipe is missing that the maf connects to or a pipe is missing for the intake off of the turbo. ive learned to buy things new and not used but it all pays off in the end..

It sucks when you work on something and the result is something else goes wrong. I hate when that happens.
