s'up peeps,
so followup on my blox spacer install (anybody wann see the pics???) i have to say it ain't no different from the kinetix manifold velocity - same growl (loud after 2.5 rpm), the mileage is same - i guess i just need to keep it under 3rpm to get 20mpg or somethin,
anyway - i think the blox sapcer is very good - i even got the cover back on it by taking out the rubber and metal grommet washers and replacing them with thin regular washers and no rubbing whatsoever - i thin i will ebay the kinetix manifold and keep the blox - i've redlined several time and yeah - it's much better than stock in that when i pull from 80 to 100mph there is more power - other than that it's hard to say i the increase in power is there on regular driving - the throttle response is about the same as the kinetix manifold - better than stock??? yes a little???
anywho - i highly recommend the blox spacer now that i have done both the kinetix and blox - got the blox cheap for $85 fedex ship and everything - i can start a group buy for us from the ebay seller for $80 with fedex ship if anybod is interested -
also - i did test the blox with a light and the thing is not only heat resistant - it is scratch repellent as well - not your ordinary plastic that's for sure...
the thing came with 18 bolts - i ended up having two extra short bolts at the end ie i only used 16 bolts - idea anyone???
i torque the 10mm bolts incrementally from 4 to 6 to 12 Newton/Meters all around

instruction for basic md or blox spacer
if it's a basic install then u kinda follow the md instruction - xcpt you only remove the upper plenum push it back and slip the spacer in - dont touch anything else to complicate things - for the basic spacer install you only remove the 18 bolts on the upper plenum - u dont have to disconnect any hoses or any intake bolts - once 18 bolts are out - pust the plenum back - put the spacer in - tiny hands help here because the opening is small - put plastic spacers in - bolt them - done
