dump loads of money into your car... go to a lot of shows, and then after a few years maybe someone will sponser you

Hit 1000hp, make it a 9 second car with a trap speed of 140mph.

Then you might get some sponsors....

yeah...usually you gotta get some type of recognition first before you get sponsored.

Not worth it in my opinion. Just buy it. It'll cost you your time and even money in the long run. Attending shows, paying those fees, then having their decals all over your car. Why bother.

you can just start out on a partial sponsorship. buy a new product for 3k vs 6k, write a review, hit some shows/track events, spread some info, setup a group buy. then if they see a return, they'll give you an even bigger discount on more product, and eventually free ****. it's not as hard as people think. i was looking a few months ago and got a lot of bites but didn't have the initial cash/time to start the process. just call and ask, it never hurts. tell them your plans, let them know how you plan to help get their product out there. it's all about them seeing a return from hooking you up. you can't just enjoy the parts yourself, you gotta get the word out there. good luck man and don't forget it take's money to make money or save money in this case.
