heyyy my opinion is you should get your G at an auction.
i know a person who has an extra dealer's auction pass.
i got my G35 Sedan 06 AT with almost full package for 14.5k when the same kind costed about 18-19k at the dealers. so yeah you got my vote for the auction thingg.. 8k is really cheap too

Sounds like a good deal but it really depends on what you want to do with it. For 8k I'd imagine the car may have been thrashed, I probably wouldn't count on the engine or transmission to be in great shape. If you wanted it as another daily driver, I'd probably pass.

Now if you were buying it as a project car and wanted to do widebody, engine build, the whole 9 yards, almost everything OEM would have to be scrapped anyway and it would be a good "shell" to use.

So whether or not it's a good decision basically depends on why you want one.

ahahah even if you have to fix it, get it..
well for me i have a hook up with a body shop, so they checked my car out for me.
changed oil, changed the engine belt and stuff.. at most costed me like 150-200 bucks.. still like 4-6k cheaper than it would have been if i had bought it from the dealership

long story short, im considering getting a G at an auction and was wondering should i go through with it?

considering :06

price should be about 8k for a clean title G (mt)

thanks in advance

any insight on possible g35 problems i could be dealing with

kevin
I have an 06 6mt with almost 74,000 miles. I have never experienced the oil consumption people speak of. That would be a great price
