Time will tell how good it is, but it looks pretty good now, based on those pics.

Glad you like it.

Getting it together

yeah.. I got a 6 year warranty on it. Sorta got most of it together yesterday. Waiting on the glass guy.
I can't choose which wheels. I like the 370z wheels, either gloss black or black with machine face?

The lower mesh is yellow. Did you want that painted. I think it looks better matte black. Otherwise, very nice.

If you look closely at the bumper-off pics, you can see that the holes were not filled.

I like the black with machine face. Very unique looking and makes the unique design of the spokes pop.

I agree, the matte black looks better.

Definetly a nice looking paint job...especially for the price you paid (free!)

I was just about to post that THIS has always been my favorite color of yellow. Lambo yellow up close is more beautiful than any other factory paint job I've seen.

Maaco doesn't even to clear coat for 1k. They use base paint mixed in with clear coat..

Very good looking paint job.. But I would have went with black or white.

yeah coulda got it

I wanted to choose an "exotic" yellow but 1) I don't think my boss woulda sheeled out more cash 2) I didn't wanna "bite" on the lambo yellow of that other G35 which by the way is totally awesome but I didn't have the time to get that done as it woulda took 2 weeks. 3) I was gonna go for the BUMBLEBEE yellow from transformer but I just didnt think it was worth the time or money. I woulda had to shell out $1000 of my own money for additional paint and materials.. although $2000 for a bumble bee paint job woulda been sick!

FYI - my paint job is 3 coats of base - tack coat, then 2 color coats.. and 2 coats clear.. Maaco does offer a base and clear job.. only certain maacos offer a platinum job. Definetly the work done on my car is a rarity coming out of maaco shops. The guy hooked us up, the least I could do is spread a good word.

LICENSE PLATE TICKET HERE IS $120.. had to do the front plate.

Was undecided about the grill being what color.. wants something different. Wil probably go for GLOSS BLACK or satin.. kinda dont want the flat black as everyone has that.

As for those gloss black nismo wheels, it was my shop that did em. Also the gloss black 370z wheels and the black with machine face. PIC was taken with my camera! (a crappy camera.. haha)

it would take FOREVER to do the 370Z wheels with yellow border/triangles.. but it's an idea.. if I'm feeling adventurous or if a tech is bored, I'd do it.

Bored today. Actually I'll "TEST FIT" our customers gloss black 370z wheels on the car and take pics.. hehe. Thanks for your help!
