Damn, that sucks
I am surprised that they went to that trouble just for the V1 though.

Never leave a radar, GPS, iPod, cell phone, or anything that costs over $100 out in your car that people can see.
Only takes one ******** to break a window and steal your crap.

and im going to take it to my bodyshop for the fender..
and getting an aftermarket alarm on monday..

What a ****ty feeling though waking up to that.. i just dont understand it.. i mean a windshield is harder to break then a side window.... i really dont understand why they didnt go through the side window???

get a pager alarm, with a knock sensor and a window sensor.

if the knock sensor goes off, it could be someone testing to see if you have an alarm. if your windows is smashed or ur door is open, it'll tell you too.

But the thing is, they dont work at long distances. but from ur parking lot to ur apartment, it should work.

but the best thing to do is not to leave stuff in the car where it's visible.

That's what I was wondering. It takes a hell of a lot of effort to get through a windshield. Sorry to hear about it.

Limo tint on a windshield??

I caught some kids scoping cars in my neighborhood a couple weeks ago. My dog is a light sleeper and barks at everything, so sure as hell 3 AM i wake up to her growling to find 2 kids in the driveway looking in my cars.

Fortunately i don't keep anything in the car overnight for this reason.

Sucks it happened to you. I agree with the other poster here, out of sight, out of mind. Then again whoever broke in probably has been eyeing your car for a while.
