I got into an accident recently not bad but expensive. To save some money I deceide to get the parts myself.
where can i find these for reasonable price?
-front bumber cover
-Grills
-headlights
-radiator support
-Hood(optional for now)
So im willing to pay someone to install the parts for a reasonable price. My mechanic said $4000(including parts) is this reasonable?
I am in Brooklyn NY.
Thanks

Approximate prices for NEW PARTS from infinitipartsusa:
Front Bumper: $276
Grille: $150
Headlamps: $696 x 2
Radiator Support: $300
Hood: $460
That puts you at a little under $2600 for parts...plus maybe another $1000 to paint bumper and hood, and then install fee on top of that.
You could easily get everything for under half that price if you look in the marketplace and are lucky enough to find parts that are painted in your car's color. Also, you can save a good bit of money by purchasing only the headlamp assemblies and reusing your ballasts since they probably weren't damaged in the accident.
Also, you could do the install labor yourself. I've done front bumper, grille, and headlamps, and you could pretty easily do it in under a couple hours as long as you have some mechanical know-how. Hood looks easy enough. I've never done radiator support.

Parts Safari....the hunt!
Go to our MARKETPLACE under exterior and do a Want To Buy (WTB) add and see what kind of response you get. I just bought a set of '06 headlights for $435 that's considerably less than what is listed above. If you don't get any results with our MARKETPLACE check www.everythingg35.com or Riverside Infiniti 800-919-8130 they are both sponsors and will give you a major discount compared to stealerships.
