Hi everyone,

Got a 2008 G35 sedan here. Fully loaded. My friend was driving my car over the weekend and he said that my rear window takes forever to defrost/defog. He said that his Acura TL does it so fast. Keep in mind, I live in northern California and it doesn't snow here. The rear window just fogs up. Is there something wrong with my rear defrost or are you guys seeing the same thing?

 

Usually when my rear window is foggy, i can see the defrost lines clearing up within a min or two of hitting the button.

The rear window might take a few for the entire thing to clear, but you should still see the defrost lines clear up quickly.

 

this is true but i can make my whole 15 minute trip to work before it defrosts well enough to see. Even with the lines clearing up, its still somewhat hard to see.. i cant make out cars i normally could. the other day, i didnt even realize a cop was coming up from behind cuz it was only the lines that cleared. Good thing I wasnt doing anything wrong at that time.

or take it in, its an 08 so I assume its under warranty?
