Awd 6mt?
6MT's are a tiny fraction of G35's sold, and mostly coupes. I remember reading that only something like 1-2% of the sedans have 6MT in the US. I imagine people who want AWD want something like a sedan which they can load full of crap and go skiing or whatever. The intersection of 6MT and AWD demand is probably so small it doesn't justify the hassle of supporting yet another configuration.
i think because of the fact that people who buy 6MTs are almost all who loves to drive, and loves to be in control, and loves to have the power from the engine. The AWD just steals too much of the power away, so people wouldn't consider it.

Pretty sure Audi, Lamborghini, and Porsche says otherwise.
second that. if you really want an awd 6mt go get something that already has it... like evo, sti, audi ect ect...
Maybe a highly probable answer:
The AWD system on the V35 was made for poor weather conditions, to compete with the AWD / Quattro systems in the european market.
AWD on my Evo and GT-R, etc is for performance and handling. I'm going to guess they figured they'd put their marketing and money into the GT-R's AWD system for the performance people.

no for nothing the 3 series AWD has better tack time than the RWD.
The ATTESA system used in the V35 and V36 cars is not the ATTESA "Pro" used in the R33-R34 GTRs and the current GTR. Like it was said before, standard ATTESA is for adverse weather conditions only-not for extra traction around the track.
