wheel well cover flew off

So i've been fixing my 04 G coupe and I decided to take it on the freeway to for a test run. At about 80mph I heard a loud noise and looked in the rear view mirror. Looked like a plastic bag. I strugged it off, and when I got back I realized the brand new wheel well cover was missing. $50 failure... I must have forgotten to tighten those screws or tabs before taking it out.

Anyone else do something stupid like that before...

lol nothing like throwing money out the window... or flying off your wheel. Did you go back and look for it?
