Keyword here is "celebrate the brand's 20-year anniversary".
Sorry. I understood your answer. My question was rhetorical.

Exactly. I much prefer the simple "driver's" interior versus the infotainment-distract-you-with-everything-but-driving centers that some cars are evolving into. To each their own.

RWD in stock anywhere?

I posted the last, saying they were in stock in WA. I thought I would ask if anyone has seen the RWD anniversary sedan in anywhere? I kind of like it and would be interested in that version. My guess is they will not be seen in the Pacific Northwest - almost all here (any G) are now AWD.

If I had the money to choose this, or a car of similar value, I'd take this...it's nice to have such a limited production car.

The red makes me vomit in my mouth and swallow it. Only to vomit again.

This is an extremely poor choice for a luxury brand. It looks like some kid just got his first paycheque and spent it on bucket seats.

Awful colour. Does not match the tone of the interior at all.

This is only my opinion though, to each their own.

I went to the dealer near my house today. They had a convertible Anniversary in the show room, coupe outside, and the sedan had been sold about 5 minutes before I showed up apparently. They do look pretty cool.

A little O.T. but I noticed that you can order the Altima with the same (or at least very similar) red leather as this Anniversary G37. What are they thinking?

Edit: G37, duh!

The BMW interior just looks outdated. I do like how the BMW exterior looks. But the interior has to go.
Personally I prefer the BMW's interior to the Acura's by a mile. The Acura's has a lot of hard plastic and has so many different buttons it isn't attractive. It is way too complicated and not the least bit elegant.
