Almost, but they are are slightly different. Athens is a tiny bit darker and was only available on 05+ when CB was available on 03/04 only.

You need to look at them side by side to tell.

Athens Blue is my favorite by far. I have a Diamond Graphite now. It's a pretty decent color, but needs some work to look good.

I was never a fan of blue cars but Carribean Blue on a G is amazing. Wish I could have found one around here but Black has always worked for me, my last 4 vehicles have been black.

 

If you want a nice sports car that's gonna blend in with every camry, accord or maxima driving down the street, get a boring color like gray, silver, white or black. If you want a G that attracts attention and makes people say "wow, what kind of car is that?", get AB, CB, or LR. Heck, I even think SS attracts attention. Black interior is a must though! I never really understood the point in getting an attention getting sports car in a drab color. (no offense to everyone with the above listed colors, OP asked for opinions, he got mine)

 

ivory pearl is clearly the best looking color on a G35 coupe.
