I just got done this weekend done a full polish on my OB '06 sedan. Black is the hardest to do right it seems. I took some advice from a guy on here as well. I have a DA and some badass pads. I also got 3M and Meguiar's glaze and wax. The car looks great now. Light just pops off the paint so well without any light scatter. I spent the whole day Saturday on just the paint.

Swirls are pretty much gone, what I couldn't get were the very deep scratches.

nicce, i am a detailer and i know black cars are tough afrer compounding them to get and maintain a swirl free (buffer) finish. usualy after the first few times you it wash, it looks like hell again

yeah i'll probably bump the orbital buffer to max next time i do it to see if i can't get the heavier stuff out, feels like the original owner washed it with a rock

Well Done.

Do people wonder why you are in their driveways, taking pics?
