R1 Concepts uses Centric rotors. You can get the premium, not drilled or slotted, for around $260 for an 05-06 and 03-04 for around $230. Stock 03-04 pads for $100 and stock 05-06 pads for $117 or Axis Deluxe pads for $64. If you get the eline (also mad by Centric) you can cut the prices down significantly. If you have an 05-06 I would stick with the stock pads since many have tried aftermarket and usually go back to the stock pads.

The above prices are for pads and/or rotors front and rear.

Pep Boys blanks for the EP3 out-performed numerous other more expensive brands and "better" types of rotors in numerous tests. I'd be more wary about multi-piece rotors from unknown brands and drilled rotors from most.

Sure you can get better parts if you are racing/autocross/tracking it. But for everyday driving, these stores stock good product.

Because they are brand ******

I guess it would be a good to find a place that sells them for less like our MARKETPLACE under vendor brakes. No matter where you buy them they won't be cheap just because they're BREMBOS. Good Luck, hope you find them at a reasonable price!

If you are buying them for a honda civic you should be fine. performance cars should use performance parts. Dont cheap out, you will regret it in the long run.

I just came off www.z1motorsport.com they have complete set of drilled rotors for $325 and braded steel lines for $90. (if you want them) That's almost a plug & play with the exception of swaping lugs. I'd buy new lugs, but that's just how I do things. Sounds better to me than buying rotors from Pep Boys....

For show, sure... but they're drilled rotors... I'd want to know who drilled them and how they were drilled because there's more cases of brake failure due to drilled rotors cracking because of the way they were drilled than there are with cheap blanks. Slotted rotors are a different story...

Auto zone is different, they sell good products.
wow are you serious?! Autozone?? Autozone is the worst place to get anything, duralast products= garbage!! Most people that work there dont even know what the hell they are talking about!!

Please, everyone that posted in this thread doesn't even know what a track looks like.
I didnt say anything about 6 piston calipers or race tracks. The point i am trying to get across is that if you have the money to buy a expensive car, you shouldn't cheap out maintaining it. Sometimes the cheaper way is not the best way.

Back in the day I bought some o'reilly rotors for my integra. They were warped after a week! I resurfaced them, and then again about a week later they were warped.
The metals and vents can make a huge difference on how a rotor holds up. Don't cheap out on rotors cause you will wish you hadn't. Same thing with aftermarket pads. If you daily, stick with the OEM, cause aftermarket squeal all them time.
