best and worst car I've ever owned we have a love hate relationship.. Good luck with yours.. seems like these cars are plagued with all kinda issues..from big to small..

here are a few minor problems to look for nothing big still a sexy car..

1 driver seat torn
2.axle click
3 uneven tire wear on the front tires
4 uneven wear on break pads
5 oil in the spark plugs
7 window motor
8 actuators
9 poor gas mileage

OP Congrats on your G35 purchase. I felt the same way when I got mine in 2003. I have had no major issues with my G35 since day one (just some minor ones already mentioned). After 7 years of ownership I still love my G, and she is even more fun now since I built and boosted her last summer! Good luck with it!

Make sure when you wash the car use quality car shampoo and if you can claybar the entire car til it's super clean and then apply a nice coat of sealant or wax so you and the rest of the world can enjoy your beautiful car . Please check the car care and detail threads on this forum before washing your new baby.

The garage door opener?

Please note it is recommended to have new batteries in your handheld garage door transmitter prior to programming and pull your vehicle complete outside of the garage because the door will activate during programming

1. For first time training, press and hold the two outer HomeLink buttons, releasing only when the HomeLink indicator light begins to flash after 20 seconds. (Do not perform this step when training the additional HomeLink buttons.)
2. Hold both the handheld transmitter button and the HomeLink button you would like to program until the HomeLink flashes slowly then rapidly (then release both buttons)
3. Press and hold the HomeLink button you just programmed. If the garage door opens/closes then programming is complete. If it does not then proceed to step 4.
4. Get a ladder and press and release the “learn” button on the back of your garage door motor head
5. Within 30 seconds get back into your vehicle and press and release the HomeLink button you just programmed up to 3 times or until your garage door activates. Programming is complete.
