CF Engine Cover ?

What do you guys think of carbon fiber engine covers? Ive been doing the whole JDM thing ( hate away) and i want to ditch my Infiniti one. So i found this online

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/03-07...item19bb369374

Will the CF engine cover warp or discolor under high temperatures in the engine bay or will it hold up well ?
Any input would be appreciated
Thanks

A lot of members opt for the 350z CF engine cover. I've used one now for over two years...no warping or discoloration.

I think it looks ugly. I mean yeah it's carbon fiber, but look at the shape and detail....

The 350z cover looks great if you have a polished manifold...if not i'd say go with the regular G cover...looks pretty good to me...

Another option though could be to paint your factory cover to match your car. I've seen it done and it' looks great and original if you take the time to do it right.

I have one on my car and it looks great! I would say go with that one unless you have a polished or painted plenum, just using the 350z one on an unpainted plenum looks bad imo.

I've had the 350Z CF engine cover on for close to 3 years. I needed to make a few small modifications with my Dremel tool so it would fit and clear hoses. The biggest difference was that I painted it to match the body color "Twilight Blue." Check out my garage under extra pic, there's a pic of my old set up but with that cover.
