Curry like smell from engine bay - no coolant leak to be found?

I've recently been experiencing a curry like smell from the engine bay, after normal driving. I also am not using the A/C when I smell this and I'm certain it's the smell of coolant heating/burning off somewhere but no signs of a leak anywhere! ANYONE else ever experience this?!

I have a '06 g35 coupe 6spd, 489k miles.

Sounds like Vivek has been wondering around your car...he always smells like curry and slurpees.

with 489k miles, maybe you got something failing in your car.

I have to ask myself if this is really a question or a joke. 489k in miles on a coupe, curry and a new joiner. Oh well, I would say internal failure if you have that many miles.

Oh yeah, pics or it didn't happen

Sorry mileage is 49K miles!!! I'm working on getting pics posted but it's Graphite gray with 19" OEM wheels, aero package, and 5/8" plenum spacer.

Also another ? is has anyone put 18" Z rims on a coupe? thinking about getting a pair for the track and 18s offer better selection and pricing for track duty tires such as hoosiers, bfgoodrich slicks, etc. . not looking to plus out my rims for the bling of it... its all about bang for da buck and maintaining a balanced ride.

Most likely fumes from your radiator cap causing the smell. I have the same issue but don't have a leak anywhere. I have put 20,000 miles on the car in the last year and have lost no coolant, but sometimes smell the sweetness!!

You guys have some very strange smells/odors in your G35s, maybe you should change the type of women you date or invest in an air freshener. The rotten egg smell is your cats, time for some HFC's....
