help! black oil/liquid coming out of exhaust?
Recently when i start my car i can just leave it in park and get out and look where the exhaust is and small dots of black oil or liquid come out.. Not sure if it has something to do with it, but i have 55k miles and a twin turbo with aftermarket exhaust. it only recently has started this then a month after my tranny blew out. so i got a new factory one put in by infiniti and it still does it. whats wrong?!
thanks!
thanks!
I'd start by having someone look at the tune again. Is it pig rich? Can you pull a datalog for us to look at?
Does it blow any smoke under boost? Any chance you are losing a turbo seal already? How long have you been running this turbo setup and tune?
Worst comes to worst, you could always have a shop run a leakdown test. It's always a good start to make sure you aren't dealing with major problems and might give you some peace of mind.
What does this liquid feel like? Is it more watery or more oily?

OCG35 haha nice ^
It stains my driveway, and i was told i do have a leak in some turbo piping, getting it checked out on monday. Yes when i floor it a lot of smoke comes out. i wouldnt say thick black, but you can definetly see something coming out of my exhaust.
