Long term vehicle storage tips?

Going to have to take the G35 off the road for a while (thinking 9 months or more, minimum 9 months). Was wondering what kind of advice I could get from those of you more knowledgeable than myself about what to do both before and after putting the car away for such a long time. It will be stored in my garage and won't necessarily be completed ignored but will not be seeing any time on the street for a while.

I'm mostly concerned with making sure that it will be good enough to start right up and drive when I can take it back out (after fluid changes, battery charge, etc.), so any advice on what to do now to make sure that happens would be appreciated. I've never had to take a vehicle off the road for so long so trying to make sure all my ducks are in a row. Thanks.

As with what thescreensavers stated,

I also always do an oil change on the car i put in storage when i switch to my other car.
I also do a full detail before storage as well. A battery tender is a must, your car will start right up when you want it to.

thanks.

could you leave the car on jacks (wheels still on) to maintain the life of the shocks?
