The end of an era

Heylo everyone. I just wanted to say that my G is pretty much goodbye.

I got into an accident today where i was pulling out from a parking lot (I didn't stop because i didnt see a car, because of some landmarks and the sun in my eyes) and I got blindsided and lost traction and visibility to the air bags and stiffened my right leg into the gas pedal, wrapping my g around a wall corner. I'm lucky i walked away with just a jammed (broken?) finger.

just want to say that it's truly been an honor being part of this community.

Havent gotten the car inspected yet, but it seems pretty much dead...

Sorry to hear about your G. Glad you are okay though. Perhaps a nice Volvo Sedan?

haha yea i would give pics but unfortunately, my phone died around then and i couldnt get pics.

I guess the shock from the airbags made me tense up and since my foot was on the gas, it didn't help.

but I do have to say that its impressive that i got out of this without major injury. way to go infiniti.

i dont know what to do about a new car, though. money is tight, and i am at fault for the accident. if i had to get a somewhat cheaper used car, thats still decent and wouldnt make me miserable. any ideas?

btw im gonna be selling some parts (should i not get another G) since i can salvage some and i had a lot of them sitting around.

also, i just got convex mirrors in the mail, the day after -_- so yay.

so after thinking about it, I decided that i want to get another G. considered other luxury cars. but here were my thoughts:

is350: dont like the look of the interior, lacks some of the manliness
bmw328i (anything else is too expensive): maintenance too much
audi a4: breaks down, also weak, and a girl was like "wait, that's a girl car"

so yay, probably getting another G. so i was wondering:

for around 15-17k whats better? 04 or 06? (i don't want a spoiler, so either is out)

04: brembo brakes, no oil consumption issues. its what i'm used to (came from 2003). cheaper!!! twilight blue color possibility (though not probable).
06: MUCH better interior, possibility of smart key/memory seats? just overall a lot of better little features. mrev2. PROJECTORS. sportier look.

help?

actually i did consider that, but ultimately i decided against it. i mean, i feel like american cars in general lack refinement (i'll drop that argument there though, before it escalates) but i figure in buying the G i was compromising performance for luxury, so why change, right?
