watch out for SR Motor Cars in gardena
I know both the OP and Steven Rodgers guy. SR motorcars have done good work in the past BUT, this is just FEW cars only. I have seen the 55k brick in person and there is alot of problems. This is not a safe car to drive and I wouldn't feel comfortable riding in it as well.
I don't know why OP didn't post this part of the story but here is an addition.SR motorcars steve rodgers owned this G35 coupe. Then he crashed it damaging the suspension and the frame which he FAILED to mention before selling to the OP. He just put everything back together half assed and said it was in a minor fender bender. We found out his car was in an accident when we took it to the other shop for inspection.
Frame was shifted, and a part of it had a hole for some reason.
When confronted, he said he knew nothing about an accident. So we asked one of his buddies that hate him now but were friends before. His friend has told us that Steve tried to look cool while on a date with a girl and tried drifting onto a freeway onramp and crashed into a tree/divider causing major suspension damage. FAIL.
He is such a douchbag. I've seen this guy and ran into him couple times out drinking and partying when he owed people crazy amount of money as well as on going "GRAPE" charges. What an asshat he is. He is uber fail. I hope you get this guy, go after his nuts.

i've known the OP for a long time from school and also work, and for the last 2 years hes been complaining about this build and SR motorcars. From the get go i've told him to post it on the forums or to stop the project. But hes been too trusting and hoping it will eventually be fixed. I hope this turns out well for the OP, the car in theory would have been a beast but right now its a pretty sad sight to see

there's more to be said about SR, but to keep things on topic i won't.
i also know OP and SR personally. and yeah, to most people, who would give that much money ahead of time for a project. but when it's not just a buddy that works at a shop, but (now supposedly) the owner and operator of a shop that is/was a good friend, you wouldn't think stuff like this would happen.
it's been a frustrating 3 years. everytime we hang out, all we ask the OP is how the car is doing and tease him that it'll be out when the g45 is out. and i think we were right if SR still had the car. now that the car is in safe hands, maybe this year's sema?
