Purchasing catback. coilovers etc. Is this a decent deal?

Hey everyone, I found a guy willing to sell me his Borla Catback Exhaust, K-sport coilovers and an AEM cold air intake for $1200. I understand the exhaust might not be your personal favorite, the coilovers don't drop super low, and cold air intakes dont do anything for performance and just basically sound cool but I was curious as to whether you all thing this is an acceptable deal. Thanks for the input!

I don't think its a bad deal at all. Its one hell of a deal actually.

If you think about it, most coils will run around $700-1100 or whatever. Depending on what exhaust, you can get them for $450-$1200 brand new. Intakes, around $200 or so. So, you do the math. See if you got a good deal.

You can always get your coils lower by popping off a collar or cutting your spring mounts.

I appreciate the input, I was thinking the same thing. Granted they've been used a couple months but if they're as gently used as the owner says I still figure I'm doing alright, considering from vendors here I could land all of this new for around 2k when I added it up.

All decent brands.. many borla owners (although few) love their exhausts, k-sport coilovers are a reputable brand (i would check on the miles on these though and possibly rebuild cost if it is high/miles are high), and w/e cold air intake is pretty much fine. Plus you don't actually have to keep all of them if you don't like them and you could sell one and make back some good money.

Yeah, decent brands I agree. No HKS or Tein haha but I would be satisfied. I appreciate the input, good to hear another person give props to Borla.

Well I think if u got 1200 to blow I would go with so bc coilover and ztube/k&n combo you would still have like 100 buck left and save for a better exhaust... the borla sounds like a stock exhaust. Used coilover are a no no in my book, who knows how hard he was on them or howmany miles they got. Its your money in the end so that just my .02

I already have the z tube, k&n and also a spacer, I agree with the general concensus on used coils, but from the looks of things and taking the seller's word they were used for only 2 months as with everything else. I'm not necessarily trying to defend my case but it seems to be a fairly good deal to me, which is what I am after. Appreciate the input!

if u have a k&n and a ztube youre already running the best setup for HP. buy a used set of teins for like 5-600 and save for a different exhaust.

The owner built up his car the way he wanted it, only to figure out he had to move back overseas. The car was then given to his wifes sister and she didn't need the upgrades and so on... haha. He is moving out beginning of next week so he wanted a quick sale.

i have the Borla catback and love it its got a very nice deep growl to it and after 4k RPM very nice throaty sound but as always depends on your own taste, i like deep bass sound to it

also CAI's are great mods... depending on where u are if u in a location that has 90f days alot it prob wont do much for u but for me up here in WA where we average 50/60 CAI does me great and gains me a small amount of HP

as for all 3 it sounds like a good deal but i am with TougeMonsterG35 on the coilovers, i never like the idea of buying them used unless i know the person and trust they aint been abused etc.

So I got a call awhile ago from the guy saying he sold the coilovers, I was pretty pissed to say the least considering we made our deal, but it's all good cause I walked out with the exhaust and CAI for $550. I still am very pleased! Got that for such a good deal that now I can maybe buy coils new. All in all a good day I think!
