Would the Dealership charge for this? If so, how much?

Would the Dealership charge for this? If so, how much?

What's up guys. Having a little problem with my front right tire. Either my brakes are going bad or I have a bad wheel bearing. I'm hearing a little whistle/grinding noise when I step on the brakes. Initially, I thought it was the bearing because it was making this noise slightly before and actually went away when I stepped on the brakes. I wanted to take the wheel off myself but realize the wheels locks are on as I don't have the key. If I take it to an Infiniti dealership or maybe even Nissan, would they take the wheel lock off for me and diagnose the problem perhaps free (longshot)? Or am I better off getting them to take the wheel lock off and taking the car to another automotive shop where they can take a look at it? I had ordered a hub assembly last week thinking that was the problem and was going to try changing it myself but I couldn't get the wheel lock off. Thank God I didn't have a flat. But what do you guys think I should do?

Why don't you call a local dealership and find out?

I'm guessing your are no longer under warranty so yes they will charge you.

correct, i'm no longer under factory warranty. But they'll charge to remove the wheel locks and place on regular nuts?

Discount Tire removed a stripped lock for me for free a while back. Rolled in and was out in 5 minutes. Ask around, but I'd definitely avoid an Infiniti dealer on this.

I'm out of warranty, and I had to remove my wheel locks and the dealership did it for free. I would call your dealership and see if they can do the same for you. However, I did have to wait 2 hours for them to do something that probably takes 5 minutes.
