Requested no car wash, and they washed my car....

Dealership had the car for 2 weeks. (recall, and other warranty work). Since it was just sitting there. I decided to let perform an oil change, just so that my car will have some type of service record since I haven't done it at the dealership for 3 years. I even requested no car wash....

Well, today after picking up the I noticed a lot of swirls. WTF did they wash the car with? Sand paper? There's even one area on the hood where it look like someone grabbed a cement block and twirled it around on the hood a few times. And some nice swirl marks all over the car.

------

Wonder if I request no oil change, no manual transmission flush, no brake fluid bleeding and no alignment next time. They will do it for free just as a courtesy.

That sucks. Did you confront them?
Looks like they owe you a pro detail...by someone qualified of course.
I have had "DO NOT WASH" right in my service profile since day 1 so this doesn't happen.
Good luck. I hope they fix up their screw up for you.

G35 sedan w/ too much money in mods
Hold those fvckers accountable and demand a professional detail. You take too much pride in how your car looks to let them hose you like this. Especially on your BO, it shows swirls so easily.

You can definitely demand some sort of reimbursement.

I usually call ahead a couple of hours before I'm scheduled to pick up my car just to remind them again NOT to wash it. Worked well so far...

Tustin Infiniti did that to me once. The worst part of it was that she was NEVER apologetic. Never went back there again!

True, but at least they will have something on file. They can look at that plus my oil change record if and when my car consumes oil.

Yeah, still deciding if I should drive there and and wait a few hours, or just do it myself.
