question about 6mt

when parking and the car is off should i be able to put the car into gear without pushing down the clutch? i was told to always push down the clutch when shifting so thats wat i always did but then i parked today i accidently put the car into gear without pushing down the clutch after the car was off and wasnt sure if that was normal or not. im a manual noob btw

That's normal for almost all manual trans.
Atleast all the manuals I've driven.

lol, u made that obvious

i do this to my jeep,my nissan and my honda's all the time. its not gonna do much so no biggies
