new to the forum but need some help

i dont really know where to post this but what can i take out of the stock exhaust to make it sound better? sorry if i posted in the wrong place

If you have a sedan, you can swap the midpipe from the coupe, 03-06. Other than that, just get a catback, or some highflow cats.

i have a coupe...some one said i could take something out of it to make it sound alot nicer but i dont know what they was saying lol...but yeah i got a 2003 g35 coupe lowered on eibach springs, but is there something i can take out of the exhaust to make it sound better?

well dang...what can i do for cheap...dont matter what it is just what can i do to the car for kinda cheap to increase the hp

There's nothing u can really do on the cheap to increase the HP of the coupe.

The cheapest mods would be swapping out the y pipe for the HR 350Z ypipe and getting a Z tube.

take a look at that thread.. useful info in there.. but for the starters.. Intake, test pipes/high flow cats, plenum spacer, full exhaust, headers...

Correct, these would be the cheapest mods for sound only and even then
it wouldn't be that diff from stock.

if you ask me .. theres nothing really cheap about this car.. so it time to put that money up if you really want to add HP..

You can ''take out'' the resonator on your midpipe to make it sound more and maybe increase hp

yeah thats the thing i heard, but yeah i been lookin at the plenum spacers which one is the best, i have read some tihngs on here about the motordyne ones and i think thats what ill end up getting...but how do you take the resonator out? im just gonna do that till i can save up for a exhaust cuz they cost quite a bit
