i think it looks good i but i would do the hood like the purple-ish G (just my opinion) but to pull of this look you will need blk roof really dark rear tint (if not all around) and btw the puple-ish G looks good cuz its widebody so i think its a bit different to compare the paint schemes

If I move forward with this, I may install real Carbon Fiber on the roof instead of paint. There are vendors that make thin CF roof shells that install directly over the OEM roof. Obviously it's not for the purposes of saving weight but more for show since you are actually adding extra material to the car. I may do this but it all depends on the cost.

I agree comparing the wide body is a bit unfair since it is way more aggressive than my G.

Paying money for the look of a light weight material that will make your car heavier and your wallet lighter? I don't understand that on any level. I'm obviously too old.

You have good point, but then again anyone who has ever changed out their front camber arms for most aftermarket camber arms has thinned out their wallets and added weight at the same time. The OEM front camber arms are made out of lightweight aluminum, most aftermarket (adjustable) camber arms are made out of stainless steel and weigh about 2 times more than the OEM counterpart.

The same can be said about large 19", 20" rims, rear camber arms, custom made boxes for sub-woofers, amps, TV monitors, dynamat, some aftermarket front grills, some body kits, etc...

It looks okay, a bit overdone but not horrible. I'd go back to OEM hood and spend the money on sideskirts instead. Otherwise your car looks really nice.

I hope that didn't sound insulting, I was not trying to be bashful just trying to make a point.

BTW: For those of you who have ever wondered how much the OEM hood weighs it's 21 lbs. My home scale is not very accurate and I weighed it twice, the first time it said 20 lbs and the second time it said 22 lbs. Lets assume it's the average of the two and go with 21lbs.

The Seibon CF hood was 15 lbs, also an average.

I agree. I'm not bashing, just sayin'... If the mods make you happy that's all that matters. No one really has to justify them.

Keep it!! CF hood flows with LR so well. I like the red/black theme. Makes me wish i had a LR instead of an IP.
