Mauricio, keep it. Like I told you in our thread on our forum. It looks good with your car and the fitment of the hood looks on point as well, unlike my hood which required some adjusting.

Now that I see how you wanna paint it, I would say pull the trigger on that as well. It would flow a lot better with your car that way. Get some impul sides and paint the sides and the hood all at once!

i dont like the hood but if u like it then keep it

i like it without the vent. the design of the vent doesnt really match. its like as if it was added on seperately or something from a different car

I would not have choose that hood, but I agree it looks good with the trunk and in to see pics after it is painted...

on a side note, I am catchin up in the G35 game!

Thanks for all the suggestions as requested I'm posting before pics. These pics were taken 2 weeks ago.

:bowrofl::bowrofl: Yes you are! It has become a battle between you, blue dream, and myself. You guys have an advantage this weekend, I will be too busy to post anything.

I must admit this is my least favorite of all hoods, i dont like it at all actually :-/

jibberjabbers 10-27-2010 03:58 PM

The before pics are money. Besides the rear trunk and the front license plate mounted behind the windshield.

This looks very clean. Adding black hood, black roof, black grill and black headlights would just ruin it.

im not the biggest fan, but doesnt look to bad

Hikkatadori Hood, Seibon TS Hood, or VIS Slayer hood would look better imo.

Oem!!

I like the hood, it might even make your coupe run cooler assuming the vents are real. Paint the hood and leave the vents c/f kinda like what you did with the trunk....great look'in LR coupe!

I'm not fond of it, but I'm a less-is-more type and I also think that one of the things that attracts me most about the G35 coupe are its clean, classy lines. I think they are just about perfect and wouldn't mess with them. My coupe has the OEM rear spoiler and I'm not sure I like it.

It actually looks really good :D

Here's my imput (hehe). I think the hood is a little too busy and like jibber said one of the strengths of your car in my eyes is how clean the look is.

That being said fitment looks to be on point and you'd have a very unique look that would be different from any other G I have seen in person or on the web. This might turn out to be a situation similar to when I first got my current wheels. For almost a month I went back and forth on whether I really liked the look or not, but eventually I fell in love with the way my car looks now. I wouldn't go back and change a thing. You might just have to paint the hood the way you want, install it, and give it some time to grow on you or not. The test of time will let you know if it works for you or it doesn't.

Either way your car is the tits and I am grateful that I get to see it on a regular basis.
