Fake Ebay S-tech's

This may have been posted up before but I just wanted to make sure everyone is aware of those shady ebay dealers. I just stumbled upon this a few minutes ago and wanted to share it with anyone who was thinking about trying to save a few bucks with ebay springs. You get what you pay for.

Good to know how to tell the difference, but the Tein site says this is from June 2008 (the update in the right corner of the link).

^They are actually softer than authentic s-techs and revised OEM springs. I'd be weary of a drop spring with no increase in stiffness or worse yet, end up softer depending on which Tanabe's.

im on df210. the ride is stiffer than stock but not hard. i like the feel. just need some hotchkis bars to compliment it some.
my boy has a z with tein s-techs and godspeed swaybars and his is hella stiff compared to mine.

I was just looking at the suspension sticky. They look just as soft as stock (unrevised) unless they changed their spring rates.

Oem linear springs
G35 coupes with oem 17’s & 18’s
G35 sedan’s with sport suspension
350Z’s 2003/2004 (unrevised)
Front:314 Rear:342

Oem linear springs
G35 coupes 2005/2006 with oem 19’s only
350Z 2004.5 to 2006 (revised suspension)
Front:314 Rear:427

Tanabe DF210 G35 COUPE progressive springs 1.7”/1.3” drop on G35 coupe, G35 sedan drop will be higher
Spring rates in LBS 308 /353
Beware, a 1.7" drop in the front on a spring that is softer then oem

Tanabe DF210 G35 SEDAN progressive springs 1.7”/1.5” drop on G35 sedan
Spring rates in LBS 286/280
Beware, a large drop on springs that are softer then oem

nice bit of info there. so they are slightly stiffer in the rear. either way, i like how it rides. esp stretched on 35 series 20s. everyone that rides in my car loves how smooth it still rides being slammed on stretched 20s so i happeeeeeeee

I have Tanabe DF210 coming in the mail... probably going to throw Hotchkis bars on at the same time.. I am hoping for a good ride that can hug some corners.
