Anyone put copper on a DG?

I think you should have kept the bezel outsides black and painted the inners copper. Would have went better with your grill since its not all copper. The reflectors look a little strange being silver and bright with the bright copper.

Nice... I should have asked opinions before starting. That's actually sounds like it would have come out better.

Yea they are definitely too bright of a copper colour almost look pink behind the lens.

I like the grill. The head lights, hummmm, maybe you can do a combination of copper and black. I think it's too much copper in the head lights.

Its an easy fix though bud. You already have the copper done just tape it off and respray right over the outside copper since you didnt clear coat. Maybe plastic dip on the wheels so if it doesnt mesh you can just peel it off.

damn i was watching this hoping it would come out great, but it was a little disappointing for me so it must be quite a bit more for you. They look like a rose/pink gold more than a copper. I think if you found a darker bronze color and matched it with some black like suggested above this could be pretty interesting
