why do all the G owners claim that 05 interiors is such a big upgrade?

I have seen pics and dont see much difference? Can anyone post pics?

what are the big upgrades?

 

i have 05 so i will take pictures tmr.. imo i think 05 interior is better.. i notice the difference

 

everything from the gauges to the center console is twice the nice of the 03 interiors which are pretty darn ugly.

05's + looks more modern, elegant and clean, the 03 interiors look like something from a mid to late 90's car

 

Pics! I love my 03 interior! But i did come from an 88 mustang...lololol.

05 is more refined. Gauges, buttons, etc look a lot better

 

G37 interior is amazing... Day and night difference lol

 

I don't know; kinda of subjective if you ask me.

The metal finish piece on the center stack doesn't go all the way up, so to me, it looks a bit unfinished.

I think the clock placement on the 03/04 looks nicer.

I do like the finish strip that runs across the dashpad though on the 05/07.

Anyone know if those silver trim pieces that run across the dash (and the small one left of the steering wheel) can be retrofitted to the 03/04?

 

hmmmm....maybe i will sit in one at the dealer next time. the pics show some small differences but it's not a HUGE difference. I heard the navi is alot better though, which would not take much...lol.

just wondering if in a year or two it's worth the jump...

 

Don't let Navi sway your purchase. Just get one w/o and put in an aftermarket DD unit.

 

They look very much alike to me, but I didn't buy the G for it's interior styling. *shrug*

But most of the time is spend inside the car driving it.. If you think the G37 interior is nice, try the IS350. You be like, damn son this interior is ill.

You could easily buy a faster car for the same amount of money.. or a car with a better interior, something more reliable, etc.. But nothing looks quite as good as the G for the price. I would be willing to trade it for a Carrera GT though.. just saying..
