Best way to paint clear corners black?
Hi guys,
I have a Brilliant Silver coupe and I am going with a black / silver theme (overdone, but I like it so no flaming)
I already have Bat's heads+tails and blacked out my grill and emblem, and I have clear corners but I like the look of clear corners in black.
I have LEDs in my clear corners and would like them to still illuminate properly, while making them look black when it is off.
Does anybody have any advice as to what the best way to get the clear corners black would be, that wouldn't negatively influence the way they illuminate?
I was thinking plastidip, which I already have. if I was to go with this method, should I do it from the INSIDE or OUTSIDE of the corner?
Any help would be great guys. I'll definitely post pics for anyone else who might want to do a cheap mod like this.

You're kidding right?
When you use plastidip, do you see through it?
You can do it the cheap and ****ty way and use VHT nightshade that sucks.
Or you can do it the right way and take it to a paint shop and ask them to spray a reduced black on it so it stays glossy black and holds up.
IMO, I know you don't wanna hear it, but it's going to look bad. The car is silver, you don't want some random black spot on the edge of the bumper...

Crack the clear corner open. Paint the plastic inner lining. Not the actual outer piece. Let it dry, put back together, and the black will show through, and you'll get the black effect.
Here it is on mine. Ignore the two white LED strips on the inside, I had led strips on mine. A regular bulb will show full black.

You can crack it open with a thin screwdriver. Use it as a pick, and hit the screwdriver handle with something careful to slowly shove it into the cracks. Eventually, it will split. You can use superglue to reseal it, but make sure its completely sealed, and you can protect any possible holes by wrapping it in black electrical tape afterwards.
