Congrats on the purchase.

You probably need the number of the radio so they can designate the signal to your specific radio. Sometimes the number is in the Owner's manual but you might have to get it off the actual radio. Good luck

My 07 G35 only takes xm..i called sirius and both xm and even though they are merged. I have to cancel my sirus and get XM in order to use it with the built in feature on the car

Just did this the other day, hit the "sat' Button, then go to channel 0, it should pop up the number for sirius and they will ask you for the code that appears on your headunit, very simple process from there and they will guide you step by step

As I am new to G35 Infiniti in the middle of the dash reads "Rev" what might this mean?

The radio is XM ready but did it come with the receiver? Like post above says, just press the SAT button and it should give you the ID#. My 06' sport did not come with the receiver, bought the OEM one later.

05+ 6mt g35 (v35) recieved the "REV-UP" engine compared to thr 5at, which means you do slightly more power than 5at.

Care

I love my pre owned G35 it's a 2006. What is the best way to remove those micro starches that the previous owner obtain with cloth it seems. The car is black with silver trim.

I am also am thinking adding a clear paint coat.

if you hold down the odometer button, you can set a rev limit. ex. i set mine to 4600, so when my RPMs hit 4600, there's a red light that flashes above the "REV" light.

Rev is the new motor that went in the G's i believe in 2005+

Your car is already clearcoated. The scratches you see are actually in the clearcoat. Unless you want to buy alot of stuff to detail your car yourself. Take your car to a quality detailer in your area. Infiniti Obsidian Black is very difficult to maintain. Trust me I've had my OB for 8 years.
