^ Berks HFCs I believe pass smog in every sate including Ca.

most HFC's available will pass sniffer, since 99% of them where made to meet federal EPA standards. so in Cali you just gotta worry about the visual check portion, since no HFC's for OBD-II equipped cars are legal here.
