I chose the G because of styling and the 2 back seats.

it's gonna be tough to find an 05+ for 10k, sport package has diff side skirts and diff front bumper if you look closely and usually diff wheels, dont think the sport always has the spoiler though

I have had 2 G35 Coupes... I have thought that my next one might just be a 350z. But if I step to a 2 seat sports car... I would much rather have the power of a V8... That being said, I would probably be much more in the market for a C6 Corvette.

Go with what fits your lifestyle. I bought my 07 G35 with the sport tuned package and 19''s for $23,000 with 42000 miles on it. The guy that bought it brand new 2 years prier paid $48,000 for it so I fugure I did pretty good.

i drive the rev up coupe which is the manual version for 05 06 and it is pretty fun though i would prefer a Z over a G cause the Z is sportier and i'd rather be sportier than luxury but ehh what can i do now that i have a G, soo ima make the best out of it

I'm right now in a situation like this and I don't really know what to do. I own an 05 G35 sedan 5AT with 74k miles on it and have a chance to sell mine at 12k and buy myself an 06 350z 6spd base model with 40k on it. The only reason why I should do it is because I get parts discount with my father for being parts and service manager at a Nissan dealer and because the car is much newer than mine. But I'm scared that I might regret it afterwards because I lose some things like cruise control, the radio sucks to say the least. I do like a lot more how the Z looks though, its just that my G isn't coupe. Losing the extra seats don't bother me, I have used my rear seats like 5 times in almost 3 years. What are your opinions?

From personal experience, get the G35 or you will regret it. In Japan it's the successor to one of the most iconic cars of all time and I wholeheartedly believe it will be one of the most timeless cars of the decade. The G35 is a gorgeous and prestigious machine.

Having come from a '92 300ZXTT which I consider one if not the best car I ever owned I only got into the Infiniti G35 because I needed a back seat. The 350Z doesn't have a sunroof or t-tops like my '92 had so if you can live without a backseat and don't mind not having a sunroof go with the Z. I followed a black 370Z today and needed a bib to catch the . The arch of those back fenders is flipin beautiful....Gary

Something about this sounds off to me, the 2012 G37 journey coupes with premium, nav and sport MSRP is less than $48k. In '08 the 6mt sport coupes were less than 40k.

Like someone already said, depends on your lifestyle and what you want out of your car. If I did not have a kid I probably would have got the 350z for performance (lighter). Also consider the luxury aspect. If you like luxury amenities over basic options choose the G35. But heated seats and leather sure are nice.
