Goin off to college. Hard decision.

Ok so this fall I will be goin to college. I don't want to take the g and have it get f@#ked up, so I'm looking at a 350z. Are there any other cars you would suggest? And before you go saying mommy and daddy bought it I run a mowing company with commercial properties and work at a computer place taking apart and building up servers.

You don't wanna get your G ****ed up so you buy a car that even more kids will envy then the car you already own?

Buy a piece of ****, not a 10k sports car.

If you can afford it, go for it.

Otherwise, what 4DGS said. That's why they call it a beater.

Don't have enough money for either of those. And I persoanlly think the g35 looks way better than the 350. But, I can pick up a beat up 350 at an auction pretty cheap through my dad's friend. Just wondering if there are any other suggestions out there.

+1, I am in kinda the same boat, a junior in college. If I were to buy another car besides my g, it would NOT be a z. Id get a used toyota tundra/tacoma to have some sort of versatility... Just an idea.

Thanks! I'm going to Florida Gulf Coast on scholarship. So I really don't need a truck (if I got one it'd be a 7.3 powerstroke!) I was looking more towards a sports car.

Holy ****! I went there last year.

It's deff a laid back area. It makes me miss the beach.

What did you get a scholarship for?

And not many Z's there last that I remember. And with that far of a drive, I too suggest a truck to haul stuff.

How did you like it?? And we used to live back there before we moved to Kasnas so my parents bought some plan and I get any FL state school for free then they gave me some money for academics and I got into the honors program. Does it take up all my free time? And we are just having stuff shipped down then putting in a storage place over the summer. What cars did they have?? And would I look like a hick with an f-250?

I have one of only like 5 G35s total in Fargo (where I go to school) and it hasn't been focked with once. But i don't know about Florida.

People up here seem to have better morals or something, but they don't screw with your ****...

I liked it. It's a really nice school. I wish I had not have slacked off when I was there. Wasn't used to having to much freedom. And awesome you got some academic scholarships and got into the honors program. Congrats man!

I doubt it'll take up your free time. Classes were fairly easy IMO, but like I said, I slacked a little and didn't get the grades I wanted.

There is a big on campus recreational lake that you can fish, waterski, and go sailing on. The beach is prob a 25min drive away. And there's places that you can keep your stuff in storage.

Cars there varied. I've seen some mid priced sports cars considering the area is pretty wealthy. Also, Miami/Ft. Lauderdale is right across the state and Tampa is a two hour drive away. And you would fit in nicely if you went there with an F-250, I saw some pretty nice lifted trucks there. There's also a lot of country area along with the country club's.
