Part of door handle missing...!!!

Hey guys, this morning I noticed that a part of my g35's door handle was stolen... Why would someone steal this part, I have no clue.. And if someone can tell me what this piece is called and how much it will cost, it would be helpful because I am looking to replace it. I posted a picture below. Thanks.

It's an escutcheon. Or something like that. I don't think they are expensive at the dealer or one of our sponsors.

They were probably trying to break into your car. But I think that only works on the driver's side.

Why would someone want to break into these cars?

^ There's a screw on the side of the door it's behind a black plastic circle cover. you pop that off and then you'll see the screw it's a star shaped one. I ended up taking my door panel off to make it easier for me to get in there. But if your car looks like the op's then that screw won't be there anymore..

You know what.. Since that picture appears to be your passenger side door (the one without the keyhole from the factory), someone probably stole it in order to use it on their driver side door. For the door lock delete.

The piece people purchase to delete the driver side door lock IS simply a passenger side piece. I don't believe there is unique driver side piece without keyhole.
(people/vendors sell it as "driver side door lock delete" simply because that is what people want the piece for..)

If that made sense...

Stupid piece cost me around $25.00.

I have always dreamed of this since high school, a friend of mine had an alarm that would speak and say please step away from the vehicle, I thought it would be cool if it continued to say if you touch this vehicle you will be left unconscious by a 12000 volt shock. Then when they touch the car they get knocked the F out! That would be so funny to step over some dip**** that is knocked out as you are getting into your ride.

Mine looks just like the OP's door so I guess I'm missing the screw, and I just bought the passengers side version, cuz that store on eBay does specify driver or passenger. But my question is will it come with the screw if I'm missing it?
