i would love to rent your pipes haha. i'm looking at the art pipes but with oem exhaust. is this good or should i spend my money elsewhere?

Old thread I know but I am going to be running ART pipes with my OEM coupe exhaust so I will try to post a video of it when I install them this weekend!

I think it should make it louder than the stock cats but quieter than HFCs or other test pipes..

Would love to hear a nice sound clip as well...please try to use a good camera to record the clip, not just a video from a phone since those tend to be crappy and sound bad

Sorry not sure the quality of my Dad's camera, its probably about 5 yrs old and not sure if we have every used the video feature.. But I promise it will not be some crappy cell phone vid.

Well good news, my buddy with air tools offered to help so if all goes well they should be installed tomorrow. BTW anybody local in Charlotte, NC I will be attending Cars and Coffee Saturday 8/6 @ Northlake. COme out and hear em in person!

Update, 10:40 EC and its raining pretty heavily.. Hopefully I will get a few hr break in the weather so I can get my car up on ramps and remove those old cats! Too excited to hear what it sounds like!

Dudes probably dealing with that big ole windbag IRENE right now im sure this job is on hold. But let us know if your G doesnt end up under water...wait is Charlotte even by the coast.?

Actually I had a lot of difficulty in trying to remove the 5 bolts for the driver side cat and gave up one day in the rain... IT sucked to say the least. Waiting until I can get my car inspected and then I will swap the cats since I will have a year before another inspection... Also no charlotte is in the piedmont section of NC which is in the middle, but I am in SW VA attending Va Tech currently. Anyway as soon as I can get these installed I will be posting a vid and updating so stay tuned. I hope to have it done by mid September but that may get delayed.
