The top half above the dashboard and rear plastic pieces will always be a tanish grey unless you have it reupholstered/painted (or the previous owner did)

It isn't difficult to take apart your headliner. A friend and myself did it in about 2 hours. Painting the tan trim pieces black was easy. Didn't take too long. I sent off the headliner, a-pillars, sunroof cover, and sun visors to my friend's Grandpa to get them re-upholstered.

This is the end result.

In all, two days of work. Day 1 was tear down, paint, and re-upholstery. Day 2 was re-install after all the pieces dried and I got the headliner back. Everything is still holding up well. I don't have any chips or anything on the trim pieces.

So I might be doing a road trip from Louisiana to Cali in November. How much would Grandpa charge me to do my headliner?

I am planning on redoing the seats and carpet soon. I hated the tan headliner so i changed it to black suede and color match the plastic pieces w/ the car.
