Don't put on a car cover when your car is dirty.. You're gona scratch the hell out of it

Don't put on a car cover when the inside of your car cover is dirty.. You're gona scratch the hell out of it

I believe some places want your plates to be showing if you street park + cover

Totally agree with making sure the car & car cover are both clean before covering.
How long will the car be covered?
You want to make sure you get a cover that resists heavy weather and can breath.
You don't want to get condensation under that cover and then have the sun come
out and bake it into the paint.

I use a car cover on my Miata...G35 and MB live in the garage. Car covers have two grommets in the side centers to use a cable and lock. I would also recommend that you buy 4 squeeze opening pincher type clips and secure all four corners two at the front bumper and two at the rear bumper. You want the cover to move as little as possible in the wind. Any dirt that might get under or go thru the cover, if the cover is blowing around on the paint will act just like sandpaperl

California Car Cover does make the best covers and their Noha cover works in all conditions. For an extra $10 they sell a cable/lock so it can be secured. No I don't work for them nor have they ever given my anything that I haven't shelled out the $$ for.... Google California Car Cover for complete information/cost.
