tires for OEM rays

I was wonderng if anyone could give me some advise regarding what kind of tires t buy. I have an 06 coupe with 19 inch rays. I don want to spend more than 1000 dollars, preferably closer to 800 if possible and am looking for summer tires only. Anyone have any good experiences with aftermarket tires?
I was thinking of getting these hancooks

http://www.tirerack.com/tires/TireSe...ype=bestseller

but it looks like the tread does not last for long. I dont have much experience with tires and would like to hear from someone that does. Any advise is much appreciated. I had trouble finding threads on this.

If you are talking about just the tires sans install, then you should have several tires to choose from.

I'd pop in the Conti DW - google them, it's become a semi-popular tire on this forum.

Continental hands down, they're a quality tire and will last a long time still giving you the ride and stopping ability you need.

I just got the V12's and they are great for the price... and the $60 rebate right now is nice. All the tires mentioned will be fine. I've run with FK452s but they are a little slippy for my liking, but they last a long time. The Continentals are great as well but for the price diff I'd just get the V12s for your typical commute and spirited driving. I believe the V12s have pretty decent wet traction too which is hard to come by in a summer tire.

I got brand new Nankang NS-II mounted and balanced for 600$. And personally I love them, great traction dry and wet.

I rock Continental and like them so far.. Not too loud on the road, good handling in all weather conditions, and best of all great price compared to other 19s..

Looks like V12 are the best for the price. Would have gone with continentals cause they last a bit longer but the Hanckooks are $640 with shipping right now on tirerack (after the rebate) . Thanks for the advise!
