Bottoming out
I bottomed out last weekend pulling into an unfamiliar parking lot off a busy street. The entry was all / \ but I couldn't tell until it was to late because a tree was also there and shade... needless to say it was a loud long scrape and turned several heads nearby. Oh, and I'm still stock suspension. I was like daaam.

I used to scrape at stock height on some things, switched to 350z H. Techs and now i dont hit those things anymore. Stiffer suspension helps out, highway driving you will hit bumps or grooves on the road, and I would scrape from all my suspension travel.
Yeah I had to get towed out of one situation.. Parked on the side of the mountain and with RWD and reverse I was stuck... But bottoming out happens all the time in my neighborhood.. We have the worst speed bumps ever!!
Honestly that bump I went over, anybody not in a truck or something would bottom out. It was like /\ for real with a a big slope on the far side.. like a 2-3ft drop. Craziest bump I've dealt with. Sounded really nasty right under the middle of the car. Funny thing is I was under the car last weekend putting on new hfc's and I couldn't see any scrapes under there. Not sure what scraped.
I have 3.5" down pipes/ test pipes those big bishes scrape on small speed bumps( won't go near big ones) even leaving the car wash or un even drive throughs
that's the low life
