hey everyone let me start off by saying i dont know alot about cars i just no what looks good and a lil actual info

with that being said im getting a g35 or g37 in the within 3days

i really love the g35 body alot more but the g37 comes in a awd coupe and i like the interior alot better so im still deciding but the real question is.....

what kind of rims should i get? the sa-55's are what iv been focusing on but if i could find some nice rims with a lip in the back thats maby 1/2 -3/4 of a bill

id like to get rims and good tires for under $3200 if possible im not going 2 do anything to the engine so im going 2 put the most money into my rims and then murder it out so tints and all that crap a hks exhaust and maby some new head lights i just want it to looks super clean and nice ill make sure to post pictures as i do ****

any feedback on 35 vs 37 and what not would be greatly appriciated

oo and how hard is it if its even possible to put in new spedomitor and all that crap

 

the 35 vs 37 debate is all personal preference. Youll get 50/50 responses

Id go for the 37, obviously its the newer generation so it has more toys/gadgets/advances.

Not diggin those wheels at all. Search the gallery before you decide, nothing better than seeing cars with wheels on them so you know what the final look will be. Make sure to pay attention to offsets so you dont get the sunk in look, nothing worse than that.

 

Like ^^^ said, G37 vs G35 is a decision you'll have to make yourself. Like you, I prefer the exterior styling of the G35, but the G37 interior is much nicer and obviously also gives you a performance bump over the G35.

Not a fan of those sa-55s...for the $3200 you mentioned, you could do much better in the wheel department.

Why would you want to change out the speedo and gauge cluster? People have done custom LED setups, but the only gauge set I know of that is a direct plug-and-play is the Nismo set.

 

ya i dunno im thinking of the g35 becuase i can get it for about 5-8grand cheaper and i could buy it instead of having to finance i just really like the newer style gauges on the g37 and the interior better then the g35 but i think the g35 with the wing on the back is alot sexier but when it comes down to it i think the price will be the ultimate factor if i can find a black on black g37x id deff get it...

also does anyone have suggestions for a good black i could get the car repainted(if i get one that isnt already black) i dont wanna go flat black even tho i do like flat black cars i just think it looks better on a suv like a srt8 inless someone can show me a flat black g that looks good, the only one i saw looked bad


sorry i no im asking alot but like i said im just starting to get into cars so please bare with me im just trying to make a badass clean looking g35/37 and my buddy is a LAME *** VW gti guy and his taste are horrible so i have no choice but to come to the forums

 

I prefer the looks of the G35 over the G37. The first link you posted with the MRR-GT1 wheels - I really like those. The second link - Don't like them at all. This is my personal preference, but this car looks waaaaaaay sexier with big-*** lips on the wheels. Also, if you want a black car, it would be a good financial decision to just wait for one instead of shelling out a couple grand to buy one that is a different color and have it painted black. Unless you're made of money and just don't care!

 

i personally like the body of the g35 over the g37. if only we could combine the interior of the g37 with the body of a g35???

and i like those sa55's that you posted a link to. if i had to choose, i would probably get those.
