The enjoyment was rekindled lately after spending the entire winter running back and forth to Seattle in our Scion (mileage of course) and driving my 4X4 (crappy winter up here this year)..

Pulled the G back out of the garage a few weeks ago and am loving it again.

I still can't help thinking about moving on though. I've had her a long time and I fight the new car itch. The only thing stopping me (I think) is I love not having any bills.
Good to see the love coming back.

You enjoy your car... but... you really wish it was a Porsche.

Have you considered getting a CMP M1? Just as inexpensive. I bought my M1 at CofW in Tucson some years back and returned it to its original glory, all but the barrel. Hard to find a 1943-1944 barrel in great condition. It has all month/year correct parts on it other than the barrel.

Im actually bored with mine right now due to the fact that it has an OEM exhaust on. 6MT Sedan + OEM exhaust= BORING. I have to wait until a stupid citation clears, so i can get me a catback and have fun and love it again. For now i just have it parked relaxing.

what did you shoot? was it crowded?... Today was the best of the three days to go by far...

Millsurp @ Ventura will have good ammo pricing... but go early on first day if you need less than common caliber (as you probably already know)... The show runs out of 7.62X39 within a couple hours on first day (at least last OC show did)... Tomorrow I'm stocking up on 5.56 and .223 (if the prices are as good as online).

a guy at work is selling a modded Jeep Wrangler (YJ I think)... I seriously considered getting it... but after looking at all the **** on that thing I realized I dont know enough about them to make good use of it.

I do like the idea of off-roading and shooting in the same outing though!!!

Main reason I bought the 4runner is Fishing and camping during the summer, Snowboarding during winter..Plus I don't have to worry about any pot holes

OP: I dont think youre necessarily bored with the G... but sounds like more with this forum. Its bound to happen when a cars been available for so many years and now sells for 10K+ used, too many fanboys get the car and seeing the millions of posts about what wheels to get, gets old really fast...
